Born on 2 September 1977
Attending a bilingual high school in Olomouc-Hejčín provided him with a chance to become one of the founding members of Lenka Dohnalová-Mlynářová choir. In 1997 he began studying musical acting at Janáček Academy of Performing Arts in Brno and four years later started gaining professional stage experience at Městské divadlo Brno. He had multiple opportunities to show his talent there, for instance portraying Vojta in Romance pro křídlovku, Claude Bukowski in Hair or Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar. In 2008 Oldřich together with five other colleague actors appeared in X Factor in a vocal group All X, which combined singing, beatboxing and performance action in a unique blend. He then moved to Prague and started working for various theatre productions there. Although primarily focused on musical, he also had a chance to work with the famous international theatre studio Farm In The Cave (Whistleblowers, 2014), or to test his linguistic skills as Michael Cassio in The Prague Shakespeare Company´s production of Othello (2016). Since 2019 Oldřich is back in Městské divadlo Brno, where you can see him as Bill Austin in Mamma Mia!, or Otto Kringelein in Grand Hotel.
