Patty Diphusa, Confession of a Porno Actress is a cabaret performance based on the stories written by Pedro Almodóvar issued in the Madrid paper La Luna.
The stories describe life on the periphery where stress is laid on everything human: sex, violence, love, adventure, desires… Patty is a girl full of life who never sleeps, a materialized idea of reader’s desires.
Patty Diphusa is an actress, porno star and friend of all people, joys and delights. Naive. Grotesque. Narcosis. Full of energy. Lover of life. Always ready to look at the world from the lighter side. She runs from loneliness and herself, but does it with humour, using her common sense. Her stories are immoral, but clever and very interesting. Patty is vulgar but very kind and simple at the same time.
This cabaret performance is a dramatic provocation exceeding the frontiers of theatre, music, film and literature. The stories become provocative songs and musicians perform instead of actors … and the porno actress is a man. A real music event in the theatre!
