For instance, the one telling how the bakers of Bystrc (nowadays a quarter of Brno) used to supply the City with their bread that would be carried to the centre inside a secret corridor leading to the well in Špilberk (the Brno castle) or about the shooting championship of a Špilberk cannoneer who managed to shoot a goblet, held by the Swedish general Torstenson, out of his hand. Such stories and many others are traditionally connected with Brno.
