A musical comedy
A comedy about how those who betray their club are unlucky in their lives. You’ll learn what the passion for football will create from Mr Načeradec, the owner of a shop selling off-the-peg clothing and rubber boots, and how Mr. Habásek and son will achieve family happiness through love for the Viktoria Žižkov football club. During this your diaphragm will flutter like a ball in the opposing team’s goal.
The comedy Men Offside was awarded the title Comedy of the Year 2008 (the absolute winner, as well as the student judges’ award and the award for the best female acting performance: Petra Nakládalová for the role of Emilka Šefelínová) at the 9th Festival of Laughter in Pardubice. Furthermore, the production received an award at the Setkání – Stretnutie Festival in Zlín in 2008, where it was the most popular performance with spectators.
