She studied dramatic direction at the AMU of Prague. She has worked in the theatres in Most, Carlsbad, Prague and Pardubice. She was a guest director in the J. K. Tyl´s Theatre in Pilsen, in Viola in Prague, in Reduta and the Pod Palmovkou Theatre, in the Drama Studio in Ústí nad Labem, in the ABC Theatre in Prague. Besides directing dramas, she also directs operas. She co-operated with the opera of the South Bohemian Theatre in České Budějovice, where she directed Cosi van tutte by Mozart, The Critical Night by Gassman (she was awarded the award for the best direction in the Czech Music Theatre Festival) and Eugen Onegin by Tchaikovski (nominated as the staging of the year 1995). In the J. K. Tyl´s Theatre in Pilsen, she prepared the Czech premiere of the opera Catilina by Antonio Salieri (1997). In the Prague National Theatre Opera House, she staged The Two Widows by Smetana (1996), Traviata by Verdi (1998) and Don Giovanni by Mozart (2000); the latter was successfully presented in a tour in Japan. In the Brno City Theatre, she co-operated in the staging of The Parasite, Love’s Labour Lost and Mourning becomes Electra.
