Tomáš Novotný
Born in1985 in Šternberk, near Olomouc, he studied at the Business Academy in Pardubice. In 2001 he cooperated with Czech Television (role in one episode of the programme Na Palmě). In the 2004/2005 season he took part in the musical Miss Saigon (GoJa Music Hall, Prague). In 2005 he was accepted to study at the Janaček Academy of Music and Performing Arts (JAMU) in Brno, studying in the field of musical acting at Jana Janěková‘s studio, from which he graduated in 2009. From 2006 he has been guesting at Brno City Theatre in the performances ‘The Labyrinth of the World and the Paradise of the Heart’ and ‘The Death of Paul I’. He also works with the Radost Theatre – Painted on Glass (Jánošík), with the U stolu Theatre – Třetí trest (dance role) and with the East Czech Theatre Pardubice – The Gypsies are going to Heaven (Aralambi). He is at the same time a member of Pardubice’s Divadlo Tří (Theatre Three), which he founded in 2003. Currently he is also cooperating with the SeMaFor Theatre in Prague.
He has been a member of Brno City Theatre since 1.8.2009.
