an evening dedicated to the famous chanteuse and her immortal chansons
Edith Piaf, a name which is more than hardly any other considered a synonym of a pure joy of life, but at the same time of a cruel fate, fall and resort to alcohol and drugs. Asita Djavadi, having portrayed Edith Piaf in the play by Paul James of the same title numberless times before, created hand in hand with Jan Röck (piano) a piece of work built both upon narration and music. The leitmotif of Edit Piaf´s stormy life was love, love which used to exhilarate her, but which simultaneously brought her to the edge of a precipice.
