Musical
The students of the department of music and drama of the Janáček Conservatory in Ostrava are gradually being made acquainted with various theatre genres, and since the training focuses on music theatre as well, the dramaturgy involves both musicals and music comedies. The fairy tale Popelka (Cinderella), which does not lack either humour or poetry, contains a good many songs, the melodies of some of which are easy to remember. Among other things, it were these songs what made the students seize the assignment with enthusiasm, their youthful spirit is bound to leave a distinctive trace in the performance.
